WAFERMAP OEM licenses are available for metrology equipment manufacturers. There are many different ways of customizing WAFERMAP for use with specific metrology equipment. These include:

Use WAFERMAP as is:

The OEM customer develops an export function in their software to generate WAFERMAP files. Any WAFERMAP license can be used (EDUCATIONAL, ADVANCED, PROFESSIONAL). This is the simplest, fastest, and most economical approach.

Custom Import:

Boin GmbH can custom develop an import function. Please contact us for details if you are interested in this approach.

DCOM (Active X Server) or DDE Communication:

OEM customers can use the Active X capabilities or Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) features of WAFERMAP to control WAFERMAP from their application. This is possible with the ADVANCED and PROFESSIONAL versions. WAFERMAP can be used as is. The OEM customers develop an export function in their software to directly generate WAFERMAP files. Customization by Boin GmbH:

This includes the use of a specific tool name defined by the OEM customer and Boin GmbH, the implementation of the OEM customers logo into WAFERMAP, a specific CD-ROM layout defined by the OEM customer and Boin GmbH, and an exclusive import option for this specific customer only (not allowing for import of files from other tools). OCX Toolkit:

OEM customers can purchase the new OCX software development kit titled "WAFERMAP-View. OCX". This provides a subset of the WAFERMAP features via a software library.
